In May, we had the opportunity to celebrate two incredible community partnerships with check presentations at THB locations across Maryland.
On Tuesday, May 5, we welcomed representatives from the Maryland SPCA, including Chandler Blake, Katie Flory, Ethan Salem, and Rue, a Maryland SPCA alumni dog, to THB of Locust Point for a lively afternoon celebrating the success of our Lucky Bagel campaign.
Thanks to the support of our guests, THB proudly presented a donation of $2,252.50 to the Maryland SPCA. Every dollar raised helps provide care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need across the region.
The Lucky Bagel was available March 14–17 at all THB locations and featured a festive green and orange swirl in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. A portion of proceeds from every Lucky Bagel sold supported the Maryland SPCA’s mission.
Then, on Friday, May 8, we joined Kat Thomas, Vice President of Philanthropy at the Maryland Food Bank, at THB of Bel Air for a breezy, sunny check presentation celebrating our annual Maryland Bagel campaign.
Through the incredible support of the THB community, we were proud to donate $1,957.50 to the Maryland Food Bank, helping provide more than 2,100 meals to neighbors across the region.
Held March 21–25, the Maryland Bagel campaign featured the return of our fan-favorite Maryland Bagel inspired by the bold red, black, and yellow colors of the Maryland flag. During the promotion, THB sold 3,915 Maryland Bagels across all locations, donating 50 cents from every bagel sold to support hunger relief efforts statewide.
At THB, giving back to the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do. We’re incredibly grateful to our guests and team members for helping turn two seasonal favorites into meaningful support for organizations making a real difference every day.
Thank you for helping us raise $2,252.50 for the Maryland SPCA and $1,957.50 for the Maryland Food Bank this spring.
