Yesterday marked our fourth annual celebration of Maryland Day!
If you're from Maryland, then chances are you share the same healthy obsession with all-things Maryland as we do. Which is why it's no surprise that March 25 - Maryland Day - is one of the best holidays to celebrate LOCAL, and of course the best flag in the USA. For the 4th straight year, THB proudly showed our true colors with our signature Maryland Bagels, which were sold across our five local neighborhoods. Fellow Marylanders joined the fun, as we sold out over 3000 bagels!
And we didn't stop there! Throughout the day THB's team traveled all across the state, to spread some THB love with some of Maryland's favorite local businesses. From the Comptroller of Maryland's office and Sagamore Spirit Distillery, to McCormick/Old Bay and Northwest Hospital, THB donated over 850 bagels in support of local educators, first responders, healthcare works and fellow business owners.Each year, THB gives back by donating a portion of proceeds towards a local Maryland-based charity that is near and dear to our hearts.
This year, we partnered with the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund and their 'Feed the Industry' initiative to provide meals to restaurant industry workers impacted who have been affected by the pandemic. Last but not least - we celebrated with YOU! It's one thing to make a bagel you all love, but the love you gave us on our social was seriously next-level. We thank you all for sharing your Maryland Day experience with us, and for making THB a big (and chewy) part of your day.
