At THB, we believe that food has the power to bring people together and make a difference in our community. This October, we are proud to once again turn our ovens pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
From Monday, October 20 through Sunday, October 26, THB will feature our exclusive Strawberry Pink Bagels, baked fresh daily in limited quantities at all locations. Guests can order these bagels in-store, online, through the myTHB Rewards app, or via third-party delivery services. We recommend ordering early or calling ahead for larger orders, as special bagels often sell out quickly.
A portion of proceeds from each sale will be donated to LifeBridge Health in support of the health system’s annual Mammothon, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and LifeBridge Health’s local breast cancer centers, including the Lapidus Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital and the Herman and Walter Samuelson Breast Care Center at Northwest Hospital. This marks the third year of our partnership with LifeBridge Health, and thanks to the support of our guests, we have already made a real impact. In 2024, we raised $1,142.80 for Mamamthon. This year, we are aiming even higher to help fund treatment, research, and awareness efforts for those affected by breast cancer.
In addition, THB will donate Strawberry Pink Bagels directly to LifeBridge Health cancer centers to share with patients and staff during the 11-day Mammothon event. The Mammothon encourages women to schedule life-saving screening mammograms through extended hours, special incentives, and community engagement.
The lifetime risk of developing breast cancer is 1 in 8 (12.3%) for women and 1 in 1,000 (0.1%) for men. These numbers remind us why awareness and early detection are so critical.
