THB will feature PINK Strawberry-flavored bagels for one week only - Sunday, October 1 through Saturday, October 7 - to raise awareness for breast cancer and funds local cancer centers. THB Bagelry & Deli is partnering with Baltimore’s own Chef Chad Gauss and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to raise awareness for mental health and raise funds for suicide prevention.

Every Wednesday in September starting September 6, THB will feature Purple and Teal Bagels, colors that represent suicide awareness and prevention. A portion of sales of these special bagels will be donated to AFSP. Additionally, THB will feature a Peanut Butter, Jelly and Bacon Sandwich (PBJ & Bacon), Chef Gauss’ favorite THB Bagel Sandwich, for the entire month with a portion of sandwich sales also donated to AFSP.

THB Bagelry & Deli is proud to shine a spotlight on co-owner and Director of Finance, Oriana Scotto, for International Women’s Day, in partnership with Yelp Baltimore and their Women’s History Month “Women Run Baltimore” campaign.

The Scotto family arrived from Italy in 1999. Oriana soon began working at the family restaurant in Baltimore while also attending college. It was her goal to obtain her BA at Towson University and then return to Italy where she had grown up. However, luckily for us, plans changed, and Oriana decided to stay in Maryland after seeing that it was a great place to live. Go Maryland!
